Name:Magdalena (ingame)
Class: Ranger
About Me: I'm a 27 year old certified veterinary technician living in Colorado ( mountain time zone ) with my husband of almost 9 years (Demonsausage on these forums is my husband ), 2 cats, and our 2 Shiba Inus Wasabi and Hideki. We enjoy hiking in the rockies and vegging out in front of our computers.
Game experience: We've played FFXI, WoW for years, tried AoC, WAR, and Lotr.
Goals: I would like to be in a guild without a lot of turnover ( hard in a new game i know ) and seen as vital to the guilds group outings. I don't want it to feel like another job to raid and pvp but i will be online pretty much every evening and want to be included when I'm online in the guilds activities.
Any other questions feel free to reply or message me.
Greetings!
Name: Wisdom (HolyWisdom, DarkWisdom, LadyWisdom, ect...)
Class: SpiritMaster, Sorcerer, Chanter (haven't settled on one)
About me:
My husband and I live in Oklahoma and are pretty big gamers. We've both recently gone back to school, so balancing work, gaming, and classes is a challenge! Luckily, I've conveniently/strategically scheduled a nice break in between classes when Aion comes out. Heh. Mmm, what else... I'm 28, no kids, just a cat and a ferret and a husband.
Games: FPS, Strategies, MMORPGs like WoW (aggramar server since day 1) and WAR (got rather burned out and missed friends and sadly went back to WoW.)
Schedule.... basically, evenings central standard time and then after homework's done once class starts.
I've run a guild before, been a hard core raider in a top ranked guild, been an officer, gave most of it up to be a casual player. I'm not that into PVP, but my husband is *sigh* I'm more of the crafter type (secret pack rat)... I'm pretty laid back and really the noncompetative type. I happy solo or if I get invited to a group, either way. LOVE to be helpful and useful, and have amazing luck with drops in any game I play so... always feel free to ask if I might have anything you might be looking for![]()
Just to make it official.
Name: KyuIl (Asianblu)
Class: Sorceror or Assassin (Will make final choice on release)
About me: I'm 22 years old and I live in California. The last few clan's/guild's I've been in have always been the more 'mature' kind, 25+ and was always the youngest. Hopefully you will all find me as 'enjoyable' as they did. I'm also korean and I could care less what you say about asians! I'll probably hop onto the bash wagon.
Games: Oooo... ALOT... Heres my favorites: World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, Nexus: Kingdom of the Winds, Warcraft III FT (dota mainly), Starcraft (Ranked 22 on ladder), Counterstrike, Diablo2.
I tend to love RTS and MMO's with a good story. WoW was kind of upsetting since you can't really learn about the lore without playing the previous warcraft one thru three campaigns or just reading it on their site.
Schedule: Really, really random. Right now I run on PST so... 12pm to 5pm I am at work. Weekends are free usually. I am also looking for a full time job so my schedule won't change much after anyways.
Name: Ilsa
Class: Spiritmaster (atm a mage)
About Me: I work in the IT field and have been playing MMO's since EQ1. I have played EQ1, AC1, AC2, WOW, Vanguard, and Warhammer (still dabble in WAR while I wait for Aion). I really enjoy a good mix of PvE and PvP and the limited beta time I have had with Aion (plus all the reading I could find) has me pretty excited about the game.
I am definitely not settled on class since I haven't had much time to get a sense for them, but i have played all 3 major archetypes in previous games (probably more towards healing, then dps, then tanks), but I am pretty open to suggestions as I enjoy the group dynamic of any role more than the solo dynamic of any given class.
I'd like to meet up with you guys in the beta to at least chat about your guild and get to know you guys better... hope to see you there!

hey rune, what draws you more to the healing side then dps?

That is a good question. I think in the past it has probably been related to two factors:
1) healers in most games are hugely in demand, so it is nice to be useful.. in particular in pvp situations, there doesn't TEND to be a lack of dpsers... usually tanks or healers are the ones that are lacking (this has started to be less true in the latest games)
2) when you are a dps or a tank and you die because you don't have a healer around, it is really, really annoying =P
My latest foray into healing was a max level Rune Priest in Warhammer... but I also had a few dps in that game that I really enjoyed.
Right now I don't have a feel for the classes in Aion yet so I am still pretty undecided... but if I hooked up with a guild that needed something specifically, I'd be happy to try that out and learn from that! Basically, I like to be useful and a good complement in a team environment and a lot of that depends on what other people are doing that you are going to end up running with...
