So I finally got some pics of my new rig. You couldn't see much except the blue lights without the flash.

HD: 2 western digital totalling 800 gigs

Video card: Sapphire 100259-1 4870 1 gig (soon to be xfire)

yikes that was no fun, was just playin cb4, and my lappy just shut off and wouldnt boot, turns out the hdd's fell out of RAID config, its up and running, im hoping i didnt get a band cmos battery >.<

Hey Trib I have an M9700 SLI Alienware laptop. My motherboard only lasted 2 years before it died. When I contacted Alienware for support they said they no longer repair that model and gave me a list of links to try and get it repaired. I hope you got the extended warrenty because I was less than thrilled with their customer support.

That's a damn sexy rig there! I may have to up my ram to 8 gb too lol .. just cuz of the things I do... 4gb is starting to be not enough

Yeah I had a really really really bad customer support experiences with Alienware as well when it was still Alienware. Let's just say, it got so rediculous up to the point where I threw my alienware laptop down the garbage chute lol ....

Now being Dell, I am actually satisfied with their support, tho I know some ppl who still thinks Dell support is really bad too lol .. I guess it's all dependant on your luck on who you get.

check the overclocks, 2.47GHz cpu STABLE and 600|1000|1350 on the gpu, dunno how far i can take the gpus, im a bit in experienced in gpu overclocking tbh, especially sli, and in a laptop >.<

lol.. I don't think u should overclock it too much .. the ventilation on laptops are already not that great, u just might overheat ur system.

youd be surprised with this system, i used occt to test stability of the cpu after overclock, never got over 62 degrees on any core and mobo never got over 71, after an hour of 100% load XDDDD
