well i got a mid-level speaker system, mid-level sound card, thermal temp display, wireless card, and a higher end network card with it all and rushed delivery for about 1700

EDIT: oh 7200... i may get a smaller 2nd HD for strictly games at 10k but i dunno. They ship stock, so I dunno what kind. Whatever manufacturer gives them the best deal probably.

i used to use one on xbox, plantronics that is, this one lets me mix in my own music and the voice all into the headset for the 5.1 surround and lets me pick the volume of each so if i want more game and less voice, or if i want more voice and music with no game sound or everything or just one its soo nice, and i can watch tv with them and use them on my xbox such a good purchase imo XD

I gotta have decent headset since where I live I gotta keep the noise down. Gotta plantronics one that I like for long sessions, and sweet sony earbuds for when I get online for just a little bit.... earch ran me about $150 but was definatley worth it. I originally got the earbuds for the long rides on the subway in Korea, but they were so good I started using on my comp too, amazing how much bass those little things can kick out.

I got my computer while I was over in Korea too... ended up with a
Phenom 9950 quadcore black edition and NVidia 9800GTX+ along with 500GB hard drive, and all the rest. Only ran me about 725,000 won... which I think was like $600 US at the time.

Getting anything electronic over there is awesome. you can go downstairs and pick out each individual resistor and diode if you want and solder it on yourself. I remember getting a hand held touch screen GPS, Wireless TV, Radio, MP4, pocket computer for like $100

damn I miss being over there! If you ever go there make sure to stop by the Yongsan Electronics Market, you won't regret it!
