Thread: Open Beta Preparation

Hey everyone, Open Beta is just around the corner and I know during last beta there have been a few members that couldn't make it, had too much work or just felt it was pure pointless to join. That's fine and it's ok, it was just end of Closed Beta and I know many of you are upset with that.

This is Open Beta and this is one of our most important and last betas before retail. I would like to say that I thank all of you for joining and much love to each and every one of you. I hope all of you to be there for us on the start of Retail.

Our server for Open Beta will be "Israphel". Will this be official? Not as of now, but this is a great chance for us to test our predictions from the server thread. Hard to walk away from Siel, I met a lot of you there and I hope to meet and recruit many more in Israphel.

Our goal for open beta is building the legion name. I expect many of you to participate and experiment with alternative characters and 1.5 update. I just want the legion built. There is no reason to enforce our real goals into the game right now as it's another wipe after it. I'm probably going to experiment with a tax setup, but I will have that ready in advance for everyone. We have to do better and faster with getting the legion up.

The alternative goal is of course recruitment. We will see how that goes. My in game name this time will not be Saunee, it will be how you know me here.

hope i can get my name cyrus this time!!! and not see a 2 foot tall garden gnome running around with it. i plan to mess around with a templar and a healer. Because besides pvp i like to farm for mats and drops when i got time

Ok I downloaded the full install from fileplanet. When I went to install it, it said something about I should delete the existing version. Is this what I need to do?

I'm guessing you downloaded the FULL Client instead of the CBT to OBT. So yeah I thing you need to delete the existing version if you got the FULL 1.5 client.
