Default How many people are planning on playing Star Wars: The Old Republic?

I know I'm just playing games to pass the time until it comes out (not that I don't love Aion). Who else is looking forward to it?

There is not enough information for me to actually throw down a yay or nay on that game yet. All we got was a hype video at E3. I'll be fine with aion for a long while.

It's probably one of the few games in years that I will be one of those "Hell Yes" response. Mainly due to the fact it will be coming from Bioware. I had been looking at it since before the E3 trailer and have been excited to see which direction it takes.

yea. me and my friends were extremely lucky. we found out about it around a year and a half ago or so because our friend worked at EA and accidentally got invited to a meeting about it. I have been restless since.

I used to LOVE SWG back in the day. I'm very excited for this game, and I hope it's worthwhile.

Yea im some what excited about it always been a fan of Star Wars and BioWare is designing it so thats always good......but thats not until 2010 i think which is far far away lol. Just wonder how the gameplay is going to be as far as PvP but the theme is great. Im looking more forward to the NEW FINALFANTASY MMO thats going to be a good one .

FF14 should be awesome. I love the FF series, but never played FFXI As I was without a rig when it was released and was absorbed by wow by the time I did. Final Fantasy IV is high on my list as well. The china servers for aion are making me doubt that I will play many mmo's until then though.

Yea I first got stared playing the FF Franchise with FF7 lol who hasnt thats a total classic.......BRING BACK MATERIA lol. Then after that I jumped into all the rest but through the years the console games have gone more andmore off the deep end except FF10 and 11 just my thoughts . Another FF game that goes under the radar alot is Final Fantasy Tatics.....WOW i loved that game!

I am definity going to try it out. I was a big fan of SWG before the changes. I'm not sure how they are going to impliment it. Right now there just isn't enough information to decide on, aside from I would like to try it when it is released.

The facts are pointing towards it being good if it is done right. Everyone who plays mmo's loves singe player rpg's and enjoying the story, but hate the lack of social interaction. MMO's typically have minorly enveloping stories and are centered around the multiplayer gameplay above all else. This is going to have both, if they do it right. Also, bioware and EA have the ability to take their time with it. What kills most good mmo concepts is a lack of time leading to a rushed release. The newest of these being Conan and WAR. I have a lot of faith in this game
